For Appraisers, By Appraisers.
Subject2 is like a quiz, a puzzle, whack-a-mole and a little life sim, all rolled into one. It's free, and it gets you ready for UAD 3.6 and the new URAR, a few minutes a day. You work made-up orders on a made-up street, and every file teaches a real rule from the new report.
How it works
- 1Take your orders2 prize orders come in every weekday, the same houses and rules for every player, and only they count on the prize leaderboard. Game orders pop up on the map until 7pm: grab one before another appraiser does. They pay points and move your level.
- 2Work the fileEach file asks what goes on a line of the report. Pick the answer that passes under UAD 3.6.
- 3Get paid, move upA clean file pays its fee. A blocked one gets one fix. Level up and see where you rank.
Questions
- What is UAD 3.6?
- UAD is the Uniform Appraisal Dataset: the rules for filling in an appraisal report, like which fields are required, which answers are allowed, and how dates are written. Version 3.6 replaces 2.6.
- What is the new URAR?
- The redesigned Uniform Residential Appraisal Report. It is one report that replaces the old forms, like the 1004 for a house and the 1073 for a condo. UAD 3.6 is the rulebook for filling it in.
- When is UAD 3.6 required?
- For new appraisal reports submitted on or after November 2, 2026. A lender with a one-time exception can keep sending 2.6 reports until May 19, 2027, and revisions to 2.6 reports until June 27, 2027. After that, 2.6 is retired.
- Who is Subject2 for?
- Licensed appraisers getting ready for the change, and trainees learning the rules.
- Is it free?
- Yes. Free play is 2 orders a day, plus 1 more you catch. No card needed. Pro is one Season Pass: pay once, nothing renews.
- Is Subject2 official?
- No. It is a practice game, and it does not give CE credit. The questions are built from the published rules, but on real reports, use your own judgment.
- Who writes the questions?
- Subject2's questions are a mix: some are checked by working appraisers, and some are written with the help of AI. AI can be wrong, and so can we. Always check the official rules for your own work.
- Can I win if I play free?
- Yes. Free players are on the same live leaderboard, and every file is scored the same on every plan. The Official Game Rules page has the details.
- I joined late. Can I catch up?
- Yes, on levels. If you join midweek, your orders count double toward your level until you make up the days you missed that week, and My Inbox shows Fast Track on. From Dec 19 to Jan 3, every Game order counts double toward your level for everyone. Levels never change your prize score.
- Is there a prize?
- Yes. The season's #1 on the prize leaderboard wins a Caribbean cruise for two on Princess Cruises or a similar cruise line, or a vacation package, with a retail value of $1,999.99, or a check for $1,999.99 instead. It's free to play and free to win, and you never have to buy anything. You have to be a licensed appraiser or trainee. The Official Game Rules page has who can win and how we pick.
- I'm not in Florida. Does it still help?
- Yes. The questions are universal, with a few area-specific ones sprinkled in for fun.
- When does Season 1 end?
- Season 1 runs through Jan 3, 2027. After that, the game closes until Season 2. The Official Game Rules page has the dates.
No card. 5 minutes a day.
